Here’s a list of companies that pay bloggers. Most require a self-hosted, custom url blog. If you don’t know what self-hosted means, you need to go find that out first. In all situations of blogging for money, I have found that increases in your C.A.N. criteria produce more paying opportunities. You can read more about CAN Blog Stats on my blog.
I have used and been paid by the companies below to differing degrees. I have tried several others through the years but if they are not here, they haven’t worked out. Sometimes with companies I have left out, their effect has been a reduction of my PageRank or a lack of paying offers. Thus, I have no desire to promote them. The list below is of the “good ones” in no particular order. Best of luck!
Blogsvertise I get regular opps from this company. As with anything blog related, high Pagerank gets you the best opps but they do offer work to all levels of blogs. Their grab bag system is unique and can be profitable. Currently this is one of my most regular and reliable earning opportunities.- Adsense Great. Real earnings (If you get good traffic interested in your ads, as much as $100/month or more) Don’t think that just putting on ads equals you getting a check, it doesn’t. Your readers must click and the clicks must be “real” in other words not clicks you tell your cousins to do. Success with adsense is highly related to how much daily unique traffic your blog gets. At current, I make about $100 every four months but I know people with large followings who make quite a bit more.
Text Link Ads Their agents, after accepting your pages into their system, shop them in the link marketplace looking for “buyers” of keywords on your page. Each link can pay anywhere from $30 and up. The drawback to joining this one is that they are selective and will only accept your blog if it meets certain criteria. I make around $25 every month on recurring text link ads with this company. I recommend them.- PayU2Blog Each linked keyword you put on your blog pays a standard $5. This is an exclusive company though and they don’t accept everyone. They are not the company for every blogger but they work very well with my blogging modus operandi. Occasionally you can get offers for sponsored posts that pay $25 sometimes more.
Review Me I have been taking assignments on Review Me for years. They require a higher rank than others but if you can get in, they are a good source of $12-15 assignments for about 200-300 words. I don’t use them often these days because the topics are not usually agreeable with me. This site actually hasn’t brought me much money in a long time. Maybe I just don’t get the program.
Link Worth A thorough interface. I recently made $30 on one post and was paid a monthly fee to run a rotating ad in my sidebar.- Private advertisers. Occasionally I will be approached privately by advertisers. Ideally, you make more from these because there is no middleman to pay. These are excellent. It helps to have a clear advertising information page on your blog. Of course, beyond that, you must wait for these to come to you.
- Other sites I don’t make much money from but others do. You might have success with these. I will upgrade their status on this page if and when they prove more profitable for me:
